Writ of Henry VII of Luxemburg [Present-day Germany]: “Henry VII declares that he has come to an agreement with the Archbishop Peter of Mainz in that instead of paying him annually the tithe from the Jews in Germany which he’s entitled to as Arch-Chancellor, he’s instead to be given 600 Pfund Heller […] as long as it pleases [the two of] them.” [Researcher’s note: The above is a translation of a German summary of the original Latin text which can be found in Guden’s Codex Diplomaticus (Volume III).]
