Edict, issued by Holy Roman Emperor Charles V, King of Germany, for the Duchy of Württemberg [Present-day Germany]: “No Jews shall reside within the Duchy of Württemberg, nor wander therein without special permission by the Duke, and if they are apprehended within the Duchy, they shall suffer severe punishment.”
