Decree, issued by Christian V, King of Denmark and Norway [Present-day Denmark, Norway]: “Henceforth, no Jew without Our Letter of Safe Conduct shall dare to enter Our realms, and those who may already be here shall no longer stay, but leave before two weeks after the publication of this regulation, under penalty of one thousand imperial thalers.”
