“Rescript” issued by Fredrick I of Prussia [Present-day Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Russia; Kingdom of Prussia]: “Fredrick, King of Prussia […] since it has come to our attention that a number of Jews are present/live in the villages of Virz and Fürstenwalde, We graciously order you herewith not to tolerate them there, but to expel them, and in case they are protected, they are to be moved to one of the cities in Neumarkt.
