Order, issued by the Danish Chancellery to the Town Councils of Denmark and Norway [Present-day Denmark, Norway]: “Jews who live in houses and on farms that are inhabited solely by their own co-religionists must nevertheless be held to submit contributions to the priestly salaries, twice per year, payable to the [Lutheran] priest of their town.”
