“General-Order” issued by Prince Francis Xavier of Saxony and addressed to the Officers/Administrators in Barby [Present-day Germany; Electorate of Saxony]: “Dear faithful. […] We have decided to revoke all silver-delivery-permits (‘Silber-Lieferungspässe’) issued to Jews […] and to collect such permits/passports – may they be made out to the person or not – and to send them back [to Us …] and to no longer allow Jews with such silver-delivery-permits to pass-through […].”
