Rescript, issued by the Danish Chancellery [Present-day Denmark]: “From now on, the Jewish nation in Copenhagen shall be strictly forbidden to have any smelting furnaces or crucibles in their homes, to which end, within 14 days, any furnaces and crucibles found will be removed from their homes, without any possibility of having them returned.”
