Bamberg: The Bambergischen Landen forbids Jews and Christians to bring a different kind of money to Bamberg and use [Germany]: Extract from resolution of the Bambergischen Landen, July 9, 1775: “The Bambergischen Landen forbids Jews and Christians to bring a different kind of money to Bamberg and use. The so called “Eilser” and the “4. Groschen” are the only coins allowed. Every person who is going to act against this decree will be punished.”
