Ordinance #600, issued by the government of the Kingdom of Bohemia [Present-day Czech Republic]: “Any Jew who wishes to exhibit a Torah in his house shall pay a fixed, one-time amount of 50 guilders into the common purse of the Jewish community, which is to be used for the Jewish normal schools.”
