Royal Grant, issued by Christian VII, King of Denmark and Norway, to the Town of Faaborg [Present-day Denmark]: “All Jews living in the market town of Faaborg may hold synagogue in the rooms they rented for that purpose, and they must not hold their religious services in any other place.”
