Order on the Employment of Jewish Musicians issued by the Reich Ministry of Propaganda [Germany]: “[…] For Jewish dance events and festivities it is only allowed to hire Jewish musicians, who are members of the Reich Association of Jewish Culture Leagues and have the required authorization from the authorized Labour Office. For Jewish festivities, I generally reject the use of full-time musicians of Jewish cultural organizations, employed organists of Jewish Communities, or Jewish musicians, who work in other occupations.[…]”
