“Official Announcement” made by the Knight and Mayor of Frankfurt Rudolf of Sachsenhausen and his wife Christine [Present-day Germany; Free Imperial City of Frankfurt]: “Rudolf of Sachsenhausen, knight and Mayor of Frankfurt and his wife Christine announce that they have purchased the royal pledge set on the Jews of Frankfort for an annual payment of 25 Mark from Gottfried of Eppenstein. […] Gottfried and his heirs can buy back this pledge for 450 Pounds Heller at any time. […]”
