Writ of Count Engelbert III of the Mark [Present-day Germany]: “The protection-fees of Jews in the city of Dortmund are transferred/pledged by Count Engelbert and his brother Dietrich to the city of Dortmund until the amount of 366 Mark and 6 Schillings, a debt which Johann Wickede paid off for the Counts, is settled.”
