State Constitution, issued by Christoph, Duke of Württemberg [Present-day Germany]: “None of Our subjects shall borrow from the Jews, do business with them, or agree to any usurious contract with them, under penalty of corporal punishment and confiscation of property, in addition to being exiled from Our principality.”
