“Royal Circular” issued by Duke Henry Julius of Brunswick-Lüneburg [Present-day Germany; Duchy of Brunswick-Lüneburg]: “[…] Our gracious prince (‘Landesfürst’) and lord will shortly (in a few days) terminate protection[-permits] for all and every single Jew […] and to expel them into other lands/territories […]” [Researcher’s note: The citizens are also ordered to settle all debts with Jews to aid in their departure.]
