Rescript, issued by the Danish Chancellery to the Magistrate at Fredericia [Present-day Denmark]: “How women and Jews who have carnal relations out of wedlock are to be punished: the Jew should be sentenced to hard labor in irons for one year, in Fredericia, and then be removed from the King’s empire and lands, and women, as of the third commission of the act, be ironed at the neck, and then banished from the city.”
