Ordinance #30735, issued by the government of the Kingdom of Bohemia [Present-day Czech Republic]: “Whereas the age of Jewesses, until now, has not been taken in consideration, in the course of issuing wedding licenses; from now on, the royal county offices shall, when forwarding complete supplications, attach the circumcision certificate of the groom, as well as the midwife’s certificate with regard to the bride.“
