“Governmental Decree” issued by the Austrian Government [Present-day Austria]: “[…] no Jew should have the audacity – lest he should face a considerable fine/punishment (‘empfindliche Strafe’) – to take on a relative [Jew] in his service and in his family-list, […] without including as to which capacity the aforementioned [individual] will be used in and [without] first receiving the permission of the Royal Imperial Lower Austrian Government (‘k. k. n. ö. Regierung’) […].”
