“Governmental Ordinance” issued by the Austrian Government [Present-day Austria]: “[…] The Royal Imperial Chief Police Authority/Directive (‘k. k. Polizey-Oberdirection’) is ordered to always remind all Israelis who are coming to Vienna with the intention of studying [here] immediately at their arrival, that they are required to seek permission to be present (‘Aufenthaltsbewilligung’) to study [here] as soon as possible, because those, who are unable to provide such a permit 14 days after begin[ning] of the school course, will not be admitted to any lectures or the university, and therefore, will have to leave Vienna. […]”
