“Ordinance Affecting Jewish Medical Practitioners” issued by King Fredrick William III of Prussia [Prussia / Present-day Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark]: “Foreign Jews who report to exams for ‘medical personnel’ cannot be admitted until they have proven that they have legal residency. Native Jews, who reside in in provinces where the edict from March 11, 1812 applies, are not to be allowed to practice, until they shown proof their citizenship, even if they have already received admittance.”
