“Writ” issued by the Judge of Pilsen [Present-day Czech Republic]: “[…] The Jews are to submit to the judge […] ‘from each table’* a fattened goose on St. Martin’s Day, and a pound of pepper for Christmas, and a Gulden and a pound of pepper for Easter.” [Researcher’s note: *From each table probably refers to each household.
