“Writ” of Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand I [Present-day Czech Republic]: “King Ferdinand orders the Bohemian chamber to stop and require Jews in the kingdom of Bohemia to submit 2000 Schock grosch[en] instead of the agreed upon 2000 Schock.” [Researcher’s note: A ‘Schock’ was basically 5 dozen = 60.
