“Businesses” (Gewölber) ordinance issued on behalf of Kaiser via the Lower-Austrian government to the municipal authorities (Magistrat) of Vienna [Habsburg Empire; Present-day Austria]: “[…] His Royal Majesty permits Jews to pursue the kinds of trades they were allowed to pursue while they lived in the city, before they were moved out of the cities to Woerth; they are, however, prohibited from building/starting anything new.”
