“Passports for the expelled Jews” ordinance of the Kaiser to the Lower-Austrian government [Lower-Austria / Present-day Austria]: “From His Royal Majesty […] [an] order [is issued] that the government is to print and issue all departing Jews a passport […] that mentions in it that Jews are not only being ‘not tolerated’ in the Archdukedom Austria because of their previous wrongdoings, but also because of His Royal Majesty’s own choosing. [I ask now that] the government does justice to this [order] and issues such passport to departing [Jews] upon their registration.”
