Patent, issued by the government of Sweden for Swedish Pomerania [Present-day Germany, Poland]: “With regard to the special dispensations referred to in the patent dated July 10, 1691 – to enable Jews to obtain a passport to and trade in Swedish Pomerania, when either would normally be prohibited – it is hereby ordered that from now on, no Jew shall be issued any such special permission.”
