Rescript, issued by the Danish Chancellery [Present-day Denmark]: “The Jews must not have smelting furnaces or crucibles. The chief of police shall investigate the Jews in Copenhagen, whether they are found to have a smelting furnace or crucible, and if so, not merely seal the same, but also to indict them, so that they may suffer punishment.”
