“Governmental Notification” issued by the Austrian Government [Present-day Austria]: “‘Permits to be present’ (‘Aufenthaltsbolleten’) [for Jews] are to be granted once for the entire duration of the annual market, but not longer; however, after the markets end, only those who have other chores/businesses to attend to in Vienna and can produce [the necessary] permits can [stay longer] – but not those [who stay] in order to sell their surplus of goods which is not permitted. […]”
