“Governmental Circular” issued by the Austrian Government [Present-day Austria; Archduchy of Austria]: “Jews are permitted to purchase old and new clothing items as well as other commodities. However, they are prohibited to [re]sell these outside of the regular market hours at the threat of confiscation [of the items]. […]” [Researcher’s note: A similar prohibition was contained in the Royal Court Decision of August 26, 1790.]
