“Edict” issued by the State-Directorate (‘Landesdirection’) [Grand Duchy of Würzburg; Present-day Germany]: “[…] 1) [Jewish] Property owners have the right to take on new tenants, however, in each case, the permission of the assigned court officer of the General-District-Commissioners (‘General-Kreis-Kommissäre’) is to be sought out […] but not to be made difficult by any party. 2) The current ordinances in the ‘Jewish-Protection’* [edict] is to remain valid until a different decision has been made.
