“Governmental Ordinance” (‘Regierungsverordnung’) issued by the Austrian Government [Austrian Empire; Present-day Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, etc.]: “[…] Those Jews with passports are no longer to be prohibited to purchase raw products in the country side. The trade with fabric/cloth (‘Tuchhandel’) of any kind – since it also contains in its nature a resale – is only permitted to them (Jews) on the annual markets, while peddling is never permitted to them under any circumstances.
