“Ministerial Ordinance” issued by the Bavarian Government [Kingdom of Bavaria; Present-day Germany]: “Peddling is entirely and especially prohibited to Jews without a peddling-patent (permit) […] new peddling-patents may no longer be issued […] in the boarder-control-districts […] Jews can only peddle with patents (permits) […] that have been issued by the local police and approved by the customs-overseer authorities (‘Zollaufseherbehörden’) which are to be valid [no longer than] 8 days […] strict intervention will be necessary for any violation.
