Order Regarding the Entry of Jewish Refugees issued by Prime Minister Konoe Fumimaro [Japan]: “[…] The number of Jews who wish to enter our country is constantly increasing. The entry of refugees of that kind – meaning Jewish refugees, but towards foreign countries they will just be described as refugees in general – to Japan and our colonies is unwanted. The entry of those refugees to Japan shall be prevented in the future. […] This shall not be mentioned towards foreign countries.”
